Note:
In this position, girls usually kneel in nadu unless instructed otherwise.  The actual position is performed in 3 stages.  The girls kneel to the coffle.  Then at the command they raise their wrists (left usually) to the coffle so that cuffs may be attached to their wrists.. some coffles may run from collar to collar rather then wrist to wrist.  Then on the next command, their wrists still raised, they will stand in the coffle until given the command to lower their wrists.

This girl’s mindset, as requested by Master:
This position leaves no doubt in my mind that i am a captured slave… i do not have the freedom to go where ever i like.  i am bound by a chain to other slaves and as such i am marched like a prisoner, or a mustered bovine to where ever the Free wish me to go.  i am completely and totally under the control of men, without any say in the matter.  it is frightening to not have any choice, to usually have no idea of where you are being taken.  you are slave, you will obey.

Master’s mindset, viewing the girl (Argos-FoS-CA):

Early in the life of a slave on Gor she’s put on a coffle; one of many slaves.  She is likely to be somewhere in the middle, for there is only one girl who deserves to stand out, and another who will bookend the group of beauties.  It is an interesting dynamic for a new slave.  She’s nothing special in the eyes of Masters; just one of the coffle.  Picture in your mind – slave or Free – what the emotions must be as you tug on the coffle and you have them all start moving: what is now their purpose?

Some slaves are headed to the most common of online slaves – the pleasure slave – but on Gor she could be headed to the kitchens, she could be headed to the laundry, or to the pens to feed the animals.  For a wanton slut it is easy to be the pleasure slave; while she is often used, there is pleasure in the sexual exploits of Masters.

However, if you’re truly going to appreciate the life of a Gorean slave you must understand that it also involved working as a slave not in the pleasure industry.  She must accept the fact that she may never lay underneath a Master.  It is an interesting line of thought, that as a slave you must consider and rejoice if you are a pleasure slave – there are far more menial tasks that slaves were used for.
