” The position of the tower Slave, in which Vika now knelt, differs from that of a free woman only in the position of the wrists which are held before her and, when not occupied, crossed as though for binding. A free woman’s wrists are never so placed. The position of the Pleasure Slave, incidentally, differs from the position of both the free woman and the tower Slave. The hands of the Pleasure Slave normally rest upon her thighs but, in some cities, for example Thentis, I believe, they are crossed behind her. More significantly, for the free woman’s may also rest upon her thighs, there is a difference in the placement of the knees. In all these kneeling positions incidentally, even that of the Pleasure Slave, the Gorean woman carries herself well; her back is straight and her chin is high. She tends to be vital and beautiful to look upon.”

:Verr Pens :: Cleaning Day:
As the suns colours painted the early morning skies, ka’li crawls out of her furs. Giving a long stretch of her lean body, and rubbing her eyes to clear the sandman’s dust, she yawns with a cute mewl and looks out of the bars of her kennel door.
The skies clear and the warmth of the day appeared to be promising and a smile purled on soft pink lips. The last of the night fire in the hearth was nothing more then charcoal and ash, a spindle of smoke taking its last breaths. Upon the furs she sat brushing her long dark locks and twisting it up in a knot with the use of section of her tattered silks, that she had arrived in White Water with. Washing her face with cool water from the fountain, savoring the fresh feeling, tapping the silver rivulets from her features and giving a refreshed breath, and her eyes opened wide. Kali’s nose crinkles slightly seeing that familiar chipped ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
“Too,” I said, “such things as civilization, and friendship and interchanges depend muchly upon trust.”
Blood Brothers of Gor
I believe strongly that we all share a love of Gor and of PalGor. We come online for various reasons, peculiar to each one of us, but, I believe, that we have in common that we want to be entertained and to interact with like-minded folk.
How many times have we heard that PalGor consists of far too many empty, nearly empty or often empty Homes? That it is impossible to follow a caste or a role, to experience Gor, in such an environment. That people do not mix – except maybe, at Fair times.
Argos and I have been working on an idea which is an attempt to tackle these issues.
It works on the premis that people are attracted to busy, vibrant places. The Fair has proved this many times. New comers are curious when they see large numbers and stop in to see what is happening. Often they stay , but when the Fair is ended loose interest or simply do not know what to do or where to go next.
The idea then is to have a common server – GOR. Gorean Homes will have a section of this server to represent their Home.
NOTE! This is NOT intended to replace or to interfere with any Home. I would never close White Water!!
The hope is that
• GOR will attract newbees to PalGor and will serve to market PalGor
• GOR will provide as much as possible a Gorean experience – following the books of John Norman.
• GOR will provide common areas where people can come together as they wish.
• GOR will be a tool for learning and information
We invite all to read the Constitution of GOR which can be found at http://goreanpalaces.com/Forum/ and also at GOR.
All Home Leaders are then invited to a meeting to discuss this on Sunday May 10th at 7EST at GOR gor.epalaces.com
Argos and I will be pleased to answer any questions and listen to any points people wish to make on this when we can. Also the GP Forum can be used by any who so wish.
I wish all well and look forward to this new venture.
The sounds of crates being loaded upon tall wagons, and the mingled voices directing like a symphony have drifted through the palisades. The trundle of wooden wheels upon the worn and rutted roads as they exit the fair gates. Those heavy gate doors shut once more, until the fairs begin again some months away. A ghostly echo remains, scorch marks patch the ground, where the large colourful tents once stood the matted green grasses lay. Paga botas dripping their last drops as they hang from tree branches and flopped over shrubbery. The vendors have departed. Bosk lead wagons well on their way, trundling the roads back to their homes. Chatter amongst the slaves in shadows of covered slave wagons, rejoicing over the wonders they have witnessed, all hopeful that En’Var will not be that far away so that they may be part of the Fair again.
With the Fair of En’kara closed and the memories parceled in our minds, ka’li would like to take a few moments to look back and reflect on the people, the events, and the key moments that stand out in her mind. With the help of a few sisters in bondage, we would like to express the things that we ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
The Sardar Fairs have begun! ka’li has been set to the task of bringing you all the best news for the opening day. For ‘Friday the 13th’, the day has set the feel for the fair, fun, learning, challenge, camaraderie and compassion.
The morning brought in the last of the travelers entering the Sardar Fairs gates and setting up camps. Small gatherings began in the various tents, with good conversation and stunning views, people greet, meet and share laughter much like the books express,
The die can be heard tumbling upon the stones in the many Yahtzee rooms on the quest to be the winner of the Yahtzee Highest Score Quest. The Quest is ongoing, so hoping to see many more participants trying to reach the high score board and take home the trophy at fair’s end.
The early evening event from Gorean Compass, drew large crowds ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
